Yirruwa Yirrilikenuma-langwa

Yirruwa Yirrilikenuma-langwa (When We Go Walkabout), is a beautiful celebration of indigenous culture, where each picture is a work of art and celebrates the Aboriginal way of passing on knowledge through the traditional stories of their ancestors.

Bizzy Bear Ambulance Rescue

This book is adorable, fun and quality reading material from Nosy Crow.  These books continue delight me in how well they have been written for young children, and how well they support other developmental areas such as find motor and communication skills.  There is so much to love about this book for 1 to 3 year olds and this is for sure going to be well read in storytime this year for me.

Look What I Found…

Nosy Crow have a podcast in iTunes, it has been there since 2013 but I only discovered it today.  The podcast has audio versions of some of the Nosy Crow books which you can read along with it.  This reminded me of my childhood when I used to listen to the Storytime Magazine to stories such as, Gobolino the Witches Cat, when I went to bed at night.

How to Say I Love You in Five Languages

There is so much to love about this book especially if you want to learn how to say “I love you” in English, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, and French.  With some words on each page and  buttons to press to hear the pronunciation of “I Love You”, this book has the right combination to engage your child in languages by site and sound.

Freaks on the Loose

Wanted!  Freaks of 4F!
Have your wits about you because these freaks antics are out of control!  No one is safe, especially not Miss Corker who wants 4F to learn.
Do you dare read this book?
Will the freaks have you running away in the first few pages?

Alphaprints

The newest two books in the Alphaprints range – Happy Dog & Quirky Bird are a wonderful addition to these touch-and-feel textured prints and fingerprint embossed pictures.  These highly creative books are humorous, with pictures that are different to your average hardback book.
