Pirate Stew

There was an amazing amount of laughter especially when catfish says “Just look what you’ve done…I’m meant to have whiskers and now I have none.” The group was concerned about the bubbling stew, were fascinated by the pirates and laughed hard when there was a bubble soaked pirate ship.

Alphaprints

The newest two books in the Alphaprints range – Happy Dog & Quirky Bird are a wonderful addition to these touch-and-feel textured prints and fingerprint embossed pictures.  These highly creative books are humorous, with pictures that are different to your average hardback book.

Wombat & Fox: The Whole Story

If you haven’t chosen a book for your chapter book readers stocking yet then I suggest grabbing a copy of Terry Denton’s Wombat & Fox: The Whole Story.  There will be lots of laughter and mayhem, and your young reader will not want to put it down (I know I didn’t want to).

Hole in the Zoo

Hey guys, want to read something fun? Something that rhymes and where you can also make animal noises? Do you want to read something that uses the word ZOO in a interesting kind of way? Where the illustrations are gorgeous and the animals faces make you laugh (especially the giraffe on the front cover)?
