I am not normally a Peppa Pig reader, but when I saw this absolutely adorable board book I knew I needed to share it with you all. I didn't realise just how delightful it was until I started the Happy Birthday song from the button on the top right hand corner. This book is a classic example of making literacy and reading fun.
From the Library Shelves – Outdoors
This little board book came through the returns at work and I instantly loved it and decided it was a must share with my blog readers.
Froggy Green
I love this book, and was very excited to read this to one of my baby storytime groups just recently where it was well received by all. In fact, the babies were so attentive to the book and I had never seen anything like it before for such an age group.
From the Library Shelves
The good (and bad) thing about working in a library is that you find little gems on the shelves nearly every shift...I have had to learn to not bring every book home that I love. I couldn't go past this book because it is perfect for my story time session I am taking this week. When it comes to The Very Hungry Caterpillar I normally prefer the original book, but this lift-the-flap version is so sweet and perfect for my toddler group this week.
You’re One!
I eagerly awaited publication day to take this book to a baby storytime to read so that I could see if the babies, mammas and dads enjoyed this book as much as I did. The response was delightful, the babies were in awe and more engaged than I could imagine. The parents had big awes at the end and I knew this book was a hit.
