The joy in his face and words didn't stop. He would get so excited about so many details about the book. Constantly pointing to what delighted him most in the book. He and I had never met before, yet he was not afraid to share his happiness with me.
Some books don't need words because sometimes the illustrations are so beautiful and intricate that the story speaks for itself and this is what Kate Prendergast has achieved in her book Dog One a Train.
"Hey there! Hoop-la! the circus is in town! Have you seen..." I remember loving this poem in the book, it is titled The Circus.
This exhibition is literacy at its best. It encompasses so many aspects of literacy experiences which extends further than books.
