The Queen is Coming to Tea by Linda Ravin Lodding

The Queen is coming to tea indeed and there is so much to prepare, who would of thought that Ellie knew a baker in Paris, a tea grower in China and a Ballerina in New York to help make her afternoon tea grand. What vivid imagination Ellie has and what a great helper she has in her elephant Langley as they travel the globe to make the best tea party of all.
It is a sweet story that has an unexpected ending, that always makes a book fun. Each character in the story children will love. Lots of different animal friends for them to love.
I like that the author is introducing the children to some other languages through simple words such as Limoni which is lemon in Italian. While it is only a few words it is a small introduction to other languages at an age where children absorb information easily.
The illustrations are busy, there is a lot to see in the pictures. The illustrator has used lots of green, yellow, purple and orange in the pictures.
The book is recommended for children aged 4 and up but I believe would also be suitable for 3 year olds.
Can you guess who the Queen and King are?
