When I saw this book I knew that I was not the one to review it. I called upon the assistance of my 14 year old nephew Jacob and I think he perfectly shares his thoughts about this epic Black Panther book.

Marvels Black Panther, The Ultimate Guide, is an encyclopaedia of the Black Panther and the characters in his universe. The book goes into depth of how the now classic stories and characters were created back in the 1960’s.
I would recommend this book for die-hard Black Panther/Marvel comic book lovers who would like to dive further into the Black Panther universe, and learn more about the world around him.
The introduction was by far my favourite page as it gave the readers an insight into what the character Black Panther meant for so many people and the direction his creators chose for him.
The character was created in a time when black superheroes were practically unheard of. He was unique to comics and changed what readers expected from a superhero.
Some of the pages are less enjoyable, in that some readers may find certain dialogue/illustrations challenging to read because the feel is slightly jumbled/busy.
Overall, the book identifies as an encyclopaedia of the characters back-story and unique world and I would suggest this book to fans of the character and to those who would like to learn more about him.
Thank you to DK Books and Penguin for the opportunity to read and review this book.
A great review ,well done Jacoband Allison
