I recently took some time out to go and enjoy looking through the Readings Kids Store in Carlton.  If you live in Melbourne or are visiting and love kids and Teen books then head in and have a look.  It is the Disneyland of books.

With books, games, music and some memorabilia there is something for everyone. The light furniture, the spiral seating area in the middle, the gorgeous painting on the wall by Marc Martin, the friendly staff and story times every Friday it really is a store worth visiting.

What I loved…

        The Window Displays – How inviting are these books!

        They have loads and loads of picture books – I spy…                                      My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes

                   The huge amount of chapter books 

Tons of board books because babies read too.

      Books that teach girls to be strong. 

        That it celebrates Australian fiction

                             Harry Potter

                     The very cool canopy above the counter

AND…

              The store with grown up books are just next door!
