Joey Chou's Make & Play Farm is unique and creative, packed with many opportunities for imaginative play and storytelling. This book is enormous fun, and emphasises that books are full of possibilities.
Marvellous Mummy
Marvellous Mummy is a beautiful book to celebrate the relationship between a child and their mummy at anytime of the year. It is a fun little book that celebrates all the different traits of a mum, including those times when she is grumpy, and mothers day is the perfect day to read it.
These Are Animals
These are animals is one of the most fun books I have read to a group of children in a while. It was great to see the children love the book as much as I did, which is why it is now one of my favourite go to books for Storytime sessions.
The Last Peach
This book is written fully in dialogue and has mixed media artwork as the illustrations, both add a unique flavour to the book that makes it something special.
The Walkabout Orchestra
When this gem arrived in the mail I was rather excited, I have always been a fan of the Where's Wally type of books and this one sure didn't disappoint. The Walkabout Orchestra Postcards from around the World, is a beautiful book.
The little Book of Duggee Hugs
This book is simply joyful, fun and hug filled. So remember whether your feeling awesome or a little blue, Duggee's book will have a hug or two waiting for you.
Freaks on the Loose
Wanted! Freaks of 4F! Have your wits about you because these freaks antics are out of control! No one is safe, especially not Miss Corker who wants 4F to learn. Do you dare read this book? Will the freaks have you running away in the first few pages?
Star Wars – The Last Jedi – The Visual Dictionary
When I saw The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary I knew I needed to share it because I know that there are so many people out there that would love it, especially with the movie recently premiering. I also wanted to share this book because DK are the masters of Non Fiction books for children, so I knew that it was going to be outstanding even before I opened the first page.
Wombat & Fox: The Whole Story
If you haven't chosen a book for your chapter book readers stocking yet then I suggest grabbing a copy of Terry Denton's Wombat & Fox: The Whole Story. There will be lots of laughter and mayhem, and your young reader will not want to put it down (I know I didn't want to).
Hole in the Zoo
Hey guys, want to read something fun? Something that rhymes and where you can also make animal noises? Do you want to read something that uses the word ZOO in a interesting kind of way? Where the illustrations are gorgeous and the animals faces make you laugh (especially the giraffe on the front cover)?
