Your child will love this lift-the-flap board book where they will be surprised by animals along the way, and discover themselves in the mirror under the last felt flap.
If your child loves princesses, the sweetest of animals, adventure and the occasional ninja move then The Enchanted Ruby is perfect for their next read.
Joey Chou’s Make & Play Farm is unique and creative, packed with many opportunities for imaginative play and storytelling. This book is enormous fun, and emphasises that books are full of possibilities.
I am always on the lookout for board books that I can use for Baby and Toddler Storytime sessions at the Library or to give as gifts. These are just 4 of many books that I think have something special about them and want to share with you.
This book is adorable, fun and quality reading material from Nosy Crow. These books continue delight me in how well they have been written for young children, and how well they support other developmental areas such as find motor and communication skills. There is so much to love about this book for 1 to 3 year olds and this is for sure going to be well read in storytime this year for me.
Nosy Crow have a podcast in iTunes, it has been there since 2013 but I only discovered it today. The podcast has audio versions of some of the Nosy Crow books which you can read along with it. This reminded me of my childhood when I used to listen to the Storytime Magazine to stories such as, Gobolino the Witches Cat, when I went to bed at night.
Some books are little treasures, and this is one of those where I felt transported back to when I was a child. I felt familiar with the story and felt comfortable that the content is safe for an 8 year old to read. There are a lot of books about magic, goblins and elves for young children, but in my role as a Librarian parents often ask me for books that don’t have those components. For those types of requests this book is a perfect fit.
