Fun Non Fiction Books For Young Minds
I am a big advocate of having Non Fiction books readily available for children to read. They are great learning tools that often don't make the reader feel like they are learning because they are having so much fun, yes learning can be fun.
How to Be A Fashion Designer
Do you have a budding stylist at home, or perhaps someone who likes to be creative and design things, or maybe they just love fashion? How to be a Fashion Designer will inspire your tween and encourage them to use their imagination to design outfits, and accessories from scratch.
Marvel Black Panther: The Ultimate Guide
Marvels Black Panther, The Ultimate Guide, is an encyclopaedia of the Black Panther and the characters in his universe. The book goes into depth of how the now classic stories and characters were created back in the 1960’s.
Star Wars – The Last Jedi – The Visual Dictionary
When I saw The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary I knew I needed to share it because I know that there are so many people out there that would love it, especially with the movie recently premiering. I also wanted to share this book because DK are the masters of Non Fiction books for children, so I knew that it was going to be outstanding even before I opened the first page.
Sharkpedia
Calling all shark trackers!...We'll hit our favourite shark haunts and hideouts and study lot of different sharks...and, of course, those celebrities of the sea.. A combination of these words were the introduction to the book and they really packed a punch. I was inspired to go on the journey with Professor John and study these mysterious creatures and hopefully to dispel some of my fears.
Explanatorium of Nature
My words will not do this book justice, because I can barely find the words for the up-close photography gives you a look at animals and nature like you have never seen before. The front of the book drew me in the first time I saw it, its beauty doesn't just lie in its shiny cover though, the pages within are captivating and the information will keep you immersed for hours.
The Incredible Fold-Out Book of Animals
There is something quite spectacular about this book, and just by looking at the cover you do not realise just how compelling it is until you open the pages and are presented with striking photos of animals. The words I have seem inadequate to describe the stunning photography.
Spot the Difference – Building Site
DK continually make books that are both educational and fun for children that encourage conversation, thinking and reading; a well rounded literacy experience. This book, Spot the Difference: Building Site is fun and interactive, giving the reader some fun difference spotting activities on each page.
How to be a Scientist
DK continually creates outstanding informative books for readers, and How to be a Scientist is one of the best yet. There is so much to love about this book and it all begins with the bright cover that instantly makes you interested in what other exciting things may be in the book.
